As with everything Muc-Off, their tubeless rim tape is pink, so it’s a nice little treat when you are going through the super fun task of setting up tubeless. Choosing the correct width of rim tape is the next thing you need to consider, and this will match your rim width. If you have road or gravel rims which are narrow, choose the 21mm width. If you have wider than average gravel rims or XC then go for 25mm. And if you have beefy mountain bike wheels then the 35mm is for you. If you don’t know what your rims were built for, grab a ruler & measure the internal width of your rim. Or google your wheels online and see if the internet can provide! If your rim width doesn’t match up with the options from Muc-Off, go the next size up – ie if you have 18mm rim then go for 21mm rim tape.
