Description The Park Tool BB / Cassette Lockring Tool – Campagnolo (BBT-5 / FR-11) is a cassette tool for Campy! The BBT-5 removes & installs all Campagnolo cassette lockrings (including 11 speed). As well as splined, 12-tooth Camapgnolo bottom bracket cups. When removing and installing bicycle components, having the right tools is essential. The Park Tool BBT-5/FR-11 is designed to fit the tool fittings found on Campagnolo® cassette lockrings and cartridge bottom brackets. Constructed from heat-treated alloy tool steel, the BBT-5/FR-11 features a 1″ tool fitting for use with an adjustable wrench, socket, or bench vice. BBT-5/FR-11 Features Fits 12 spline/approx. 22.8 mm OD tool fittings Fits all Campagnolo® cassette lockrings Also fits Campagnolo® cartridge bottom brackets including Chorus® and Centaur® 1″ hexagonal base can be used with 1″ socket or wrench NOTE: The BBT-5/FR-11 is not interchangeable with the FR-1.3, FR-5.2, or FR-7. Each tool fitting has its own unique tool profile. OPERATION & USE Lockring Removal: Fit BBT-5 into lockring and install quick release skewer. Hold cogs with chain whip and turn clockwise with wrench. Lockring Installation: Fit BBT-5 into lockring and turn clockwise until tight. Bottom Bracket Removal: Fit BBT-5 into non-driveside cup & turn counter clockwise with wrench. Fit BBT-5 into driveside cup & turn clockwise (counter clockwise for Italian threaded cup). Bottom Bracket Installation: Fit BBT-5 inside driveside cup & turn counter clockwise with wrench until tight (clockwise for Italian threaded cup) Fit BBT-5 into non driveside cup & turn clockwise until tight.
